Looking for a dependable, motivated, productive team member with great communication, organization, and problem solving skills. Must have both an eye and patience for detail. Caution: This job includes repetitive mental work.
Duties include:
- Conduct detailed dimensional inspection reports, inspect PPAP samples/prototypes/production parts
- Assist Quality Engineer with gage calibrations, PPAP process, and developing QC documents such as control plans, work/inspection instructions, PFMEAs, process flows, etc.
- Responsible for monitoring several aspects of the quality department
- Perform capability studies
- Conduct internal audits for quality, ISO/TS, safety, and 5S
Must posses the following skills/qualities or quickly adapt:
- Excellent communication & writing skills (English/Spanish bilingual is a plus)
- Proficient with measuring equipment (Calipers, Micrometers, Optical Comparators, etc.)
- Proficient with computers, especially MS Excel
- Good understanding of ISO/TS guidelines and internal procedures
Full-time position on 1st shift (6:00am-2:30pm)
Education: High school or equivalent required
Experience: Preferred 2yr+ with an automotive industry related company, or industrial manufacturing
