Torsion Springs

Torsion Springs

Torsion springs are designed to apply torque and store rotational energy, and are commonly used in custom applications from brush motors and switches to car door handles and light fixtures.  Lewis Spring & Manufacturing stocks a large selection of wire sizes and material types for most applications.  We offer single and double torsion body designs, and nearly any leg configuration you may need. Design Tip: Torsion spring coils will tighten or loosen around a support rod when twisted, so be sure to allow enogh room to accomodate.

Our engineers evaluate every spring design to ensure functionality and cost effectiveness.  As with all our products, torsion springs go through an extensive quality process that ensures that each part is made to the customer’s exact specifications.  Our quality standard, IATF 16949:2016, allows all our customers to expect automotive quality from prototype to PPAP to production releases.

As a leader in torsion spring design and manufacture, Lewis Spring & Manufacturing produces torsion springs in various body types and material types.  Our dedicated manufacturing team is quality oriented and committed to manufacturing springs that meet your exact needs.  To learn more about torsion springs and how Lewis Spring & Manufacturing can assist you, we invite you to request a quote or contact us today.
